Join us as MMAC presents purchase awards of $10,000, $7,000 and $3,000 to three winners from the "19 Under 39: Celebrating 日本毛片's Emerging Artists- The Michele and Loren Hansen Biennial Exhibition" as well as a People's Choice award selected through public voting and the honoring of two Champions of the Arts.
The program will feature appetizers and Badlander bar catering and an awards program followed by a reception and a chance to view the fantastic work young 日本毛片 artists have to offer. The exhibition features 19 artists ages 19 to 39. It is supported by UM alumni Michele and Loren Hansen and implemented by the MMAC curatorial team. Longtime UM and MMAC donors, the Hansens have provided a commitment to the UM Foundation that allows the museum to showcase, recognize and acquire the artwork of young contemporary artists from across the state. Over 100 artists in all mediums and all content applied in fall 2024, and 19 were selected by a statewide selection committee as the leading artists of this generation.
