What do you get when you mix epic skiing/snowboarding with local mountain charm? Snowbowl鈥擬issoula's go-to mountain, a quick 30-minute drive from town. sent professional skier Amie Engerbretson to Missoula to check it out for herself, and this "college town mixed with outdoor enthusiasts" did not disappoint. First and foremost, Powder Magazine came to see what kind of skiing Missoula could dish up. They tackled steepest runs, cruised on the groomers, paid a visit to the children's freestyle team, and topped it off at The Last Run for the world's best Bloody Mary.
If you saw a lively band and packed venue in Powder Magazine's video, it was probably . A constant stream of local and big-name artists cycle through, and the casual bar and restaurant transforms into a live-music paradise once the sun goes down.
Everyone flocks to Missoula for spring and summer , yet few realize the year-round opportunities on two wheels. Amie made the 5 minute drive out to Rattlesnake Canyon and realized, "I love to mountain bike in the summer, and it turns out I love to fat bike in the winter!"
Missoula is described as the "epicenter of craft beer in 日本毛片," so it's no surprise that Amie visited and met with their head brewer, Kyle. We hope she got a chance to sample their famous tropical IPA, Pineapple Express.
